About Elizabeth
Elizabeth is a licensed clinical professional counselor who is certified as an eating disorder specialist and yoga teacher.
She enjoys the opportunity to utilize her skillset across all ages from children to adults to provide support through the different stages of life. Her training background has led to a clinical focus in helping individuals overcome eating disorders and body image, school avoidance and refusal, mood and anxiety disorders, and life and family transitions such as divorce, pregnancy & postpartum adjustment. She also provides emotional and behavioral coaching and education to caregivers and families to help empower them in supporting their loved one. Elizabeth’s guiding principles in her therapy work include collaboration, empowerment, and growth.
Elizabeth has an extensive background in utilizing and providing trainings in Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Exposure Response Prevention (ERP), Emotion Focused Family Therapy (EFFT) and Family-Based Treatment (FBT). Her professional journey has allowed her to work in all levels of care from inpatient, residential, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient across a wide spectrum of age and presenting concerns.
Her background allows her to adjust her therapy style based on the unique needs of her clients to receive the best outcomes. She is passionate about pursuing ongoing training to present her clients with the latest evidence-based treatment models.
Outside of work, Elizabeth enjoys practicing yoga, discovering new podcasts and music, reading, and travel. She has a goal of visiting all of the National Parks with her family.
